Cybersource Serves and Donates to OPERATION M.A.L.A.E.L.A

I approached Terry Chace (Cybersource HR Manager) in hopes of forming a donation drive for the victims of the Tsunami in Samoa. Without hesitation he was onboard and willing to lend a hand. The next day Terry approached me with some amazing news. The C.E.O of Cybersource, Bill McKiernan offered $1,000 of his own money to purchase items for the hygiene kits. (blankets, tents, etc.) The graciousness the Cybersource family has shown definitely surpassed my wildest expectations.

John Hammond (Prod.Support Specialist) Helping pack boxes

Trace Downey (Supervisor also lending a helping hand)

Me and Bill McKiernan (C.E.O. Cybersource)

John Bodine (V.P. of Sales & Marketing) putting a kit together

My most sincere THANKS and GRATITUDE goes out to Bill McKiernan (C.E.O), John Bodine (V.P. of Sales & Marketing), Terry Chace (HR Manager), and Maree Gardiner (Executive Assistant) and the rest of the CyberSource family for your labor of love.

M.A.L.A.E.L.A PURPOSE:

Wall of Water

Shared via AddThis

During the early morning hours of Tuesday September 29, 2009 a tsunami, triggered by a powerful 8.0 undersea earthquake, slammed into the Samoan islands located in the South Pacific. The waves topping 13 feet were not only enormous in size but also in strength, engulfing everything in its path. The waves known to travel up to 500 mph uprooted trees, crumbled homes, mangled cars, and most devastating of all, claimed lives violently and abruptly.

As the days pass the death toll continues to climb. Many villages have been obliterated, including the village of Malaela located on the Southeast coast of Samoa. Thus bringing about the start of "Operation M.A.L.A.E.L.A" where we hope to "Mend A Life and Embrace the Love of Aiga" by combining our talents and efforts to help our families reclaim and rebuild their lives in our village of Malaela.
